Confirmation/Reaffirmation/Reception
Confirmation is for those who have been baptised as infants and now believe God is calling them to confirm their Christian faith by owning the vows that their parents and godparents had said on their behalf.
Reaffirmation of one’s faith is for those who believe God is calling them to make a public testimony of their faith,
Reception is for those who have come from other Christian denominations who formally wish to become Anglicans.
These are all done in the presence of a Bishop in a Sunday service.
